The client will be responsible for (or have someone designated for this responsibility) identifying people/objects of whom/which specific photographs are desired. The photographer will NOT be held accountable for not photographing desired people if there is no one to assist in identifying or gathering people for the photograph(s). We DO NOT cover guests EATING photo during events as majority of people do not prefer photos to be taken.

Due to the nature of typical wedding day and varieties of events taking place in several locations, the photographer will frequently move, change and secure his equipments throughout the day. It is likely that the photographer is not in the proximity as the couple, therefore, is not aware what is about to be taken place. It is the responsible of the wedding coordinator/planner to inform the photographer when the next major event is about to take place. For example, starting of ceremony, first dance, cake cutting, toss of bouquet and etc. In addition, designated person shall be responsible in organizing and tracking all posed photos that are required. The photographer is there to take photos of all groups in front of him but cannot be responsible in organizing and tracking all the groups.

The official Photographer may substitute another photographer to take the photographs in the event of Photographer’s illness or circumstances beyond his control. Under normal circumstances a second photographer from the Photographer is there for the day anyway and this photographer will then shoot the day on his/her own. If both photographers are unavailable and a replacement photographer cannot be found then liability is limited to a refund of any payments received.

The Photographer makes no guarantee, either expressed or implied, in regard to the quality of the Images, if the artificial lighting provided by the clients at the venue is unsuitable or too dark for photography It is strongly advised by the Photographer to avoid any use of coloured LED lighting or any other form of coloured or flickering lighting in the ambient areas, sitting areas or performance areas for the wedding. Coloured lighting if any should be restricted to the peripheral decorations only. Bright and even lighting should be provided in all ceremony and guest areas. The Photographer does not use a flash for shooting candid or creative shots.

Simon Shashi Studio will provide a pleasing colour balance but cannot guarantee exact colour matching owing to anomalous reflectance caused by a combination of certain dyes and materials especially man-made fibres. It is sometimes impossible to record photographically the exact colour as seen by the human eye.

Please arrange someone who can clear the crowd who is standing behind the scene during the group photoshoot time. The Photographer shall not be responsible if there is anyone standing in the frame other then the particular family member. We are not responsible if any of the person in the groups who doesn't look at the camera or closed their eyes. In this situation, it's hard to monitor each and every person in particular photos as the crowds will keep coming to take pictures.

Simon Shashi Studio is to be the sole professional photographer. Your guests will of course want to take photographs. The Photographer cannot and will not be held responsible for a lack of wedding photographs due to guests taking their own photos for the bride and groom and interrupting the workflows of the photographer.
